These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of SIA WATS services, the purchase of goods and the use of this website. The website is operated by SIA WATS (registration No. 44102014722, VAT No. LV44102014722, registered address Liepu iela 9, Valmiera, LV-4202, Latvia; email info@wats.lv; phone +371 28444449). By using our services or submitting a request, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.

1. Services and prices

SIA WATS provides electric motor repair, rewinding and testing services, as well as the sale of electric motors, drives, industrial electronics and spare parts. Prices are shown in euro (EUR) exclusive of value added tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise; VAT is added at the applicable rate. Prices and availability may change; the price confirmed at the time your order is placed applies to that order.

2. Requests and orders

Requests and orders can be submitted via the website contact form, by email or by phone. After receiving your request we prepare an offer (repair cost, timeframe and warranty, or the price of goods and delivery terms). A binding contract is formed once we have confirmed the order and the client has accepted the offer. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is unavailable or a price was clearly erroneous), refunding any payment already received in full.

3. Payment

Payment is normally made against an invoice by bank transfer in accordance with the terms stated in the offer. Online card payments are not processed on this website. Goods or services may be handed over after full or partial payment, as agreed.

4. Delivery

We offer the following options: collection at the SIA WATS premises in Valmiera, Liepu iela 9, by prior arrangement; delivery by SIA WATS transport or by courier. Delivery cost and timeframe are agreed before dispatch. The standard handling and delivery time is usually stated in the offer; for some goods and repairs the lead time may be longer. Risk of loss or damage passes to the client upon handover of the goods to the client or their carrier.

5. Warranty and claims

Consumers benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee under Latvian law (generally two years for new goods). For the ProMotor and Innomatics (SIEMENS) electric motors sold by SIA WATS, new spare parts are provided during warranty and post-warranty repair. If a product is faulty or does not match its description, please contact us (info@wats.lv) with your order details and a description of the issue; we will arrange repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as required by law.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, in accordance with the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law. To exercise it, notify us (info@wats.lv) within that period and return the goods in their original, unused condition to Liepu iela 9, Valmiera, LV-4202. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made or supplied to the client's specification, nor to repair services performed, to the extent permitted by law. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the client, except where the goods were faulty or incorrectly supplied.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, SIA WATS is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Goods and equipment are intended for their described purpose; electric motors and equipment must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable law.

8. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please raise any complaint with us first (info@wats.lv) — we aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Consumers may also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (PTAC, www.ptac.gov.lv) or use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which explains what we collect, for what purpose and what your rights are.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time your order is placed applies to that order. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
